If we add accounts or paid plans, we will also use a membership provider and a payment processor (see section 9).
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
Some of our service providers store data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your information in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Vokku does not offer accounts or paid plans yet. When we do, we will collect the details needed to provide them, such as your login details, the plan you choose, and any profile details you choose to save to fill in prompts for you.
Payments will be handled by a secure third-party payment processor. We will not see or store your full card details. We will update this policy, including the providers we use, before accounts or paid plans go live.
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. These include using reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), two-factor authentication on our accounts, and limiting who can access your information.
No online service can be completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information sent to us over the internet.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy or as the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it. If you unsubscribe, we may keep your email address on a suppression list so we do not contact you again.
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you as soon as we can and, where required, notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing megan@vokku.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. If we cannot meet your request, we will explain why in writing, unless the law says otherwise.
You can browse Vokku and use the free prompts without telling us who you are. You only need to give us your details if you want updates or want us to reply to you.
Vokku is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, please contact us and we will delete them.
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please email megan@vokku.com.au with the details. We will acknowledge your complaint within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
